Peep Show - Artist Intros

NATHAN SHARRATT
Be My Blood Brother
"I am interested in exploring common denominators on a primordial elevation; how we're all connected at the most basic human levels."
-Nathan Sharratt

Nathan works to eliminate boundaries that keep us from making new connections and reaches out to the audience for participation on a personal level.

Nathan Sharratt studied Film at Pratt Institute and received a BFA in Sculpture in 2011 (expected) from the Savannah College of Art & Design. This explains the various array of  media in all of his work.

Be My Blood Brother focuses on performance and relies on heavily on a contribution from the viewer - putting trust in to his audience that they will not shy away from co-facilitating the piece.

You may find more on Nathan's work at www.NathanSharratt.com and experience his piece on August 26th at our Grand Opening of Elevate!

Its on fellas - Let the high fives begin

Elevate flyers just released yesterday - and a handsome flyer at that. Don’t be fooled by the cover (work of the talented Chris Chambers FYI), there is mucho information to be seen with a single flip of the wrist. We haven’t released the artists who complete our immaculate exhibit,  formally. We have been holding our breath and only discussing their names via smoke signal for a month now. Gotta tell ya - dyin to let it out. Pride, excitement and the inability keep our trap shut means well - we are leaking information.

But wait there’s more! Through a partnership with our sister city Toulouse, France and the French consulate, we’re working to bridge the gap between Elevate and the France-Atlanta Festival. Our sister city will be sending three artist groups (theater, performance, street art) to participate in this innovative exhibition.
Stay tuned for the announcement of the names of the selected Elevate artists, they’re coming soon!
Mark it on your calendars, Elevate opens in only 12 weeks!
