We absolutely love all of the proposals that flooded our office on April 14th. I can't begin to imagine what will happen after we have launched the exhibition. Downtown as a destination for some of the most cutting edge work from all over the world. Amazing. Truly Amazing.

Frequently asked questions regarding ELEVATE proposals
A. Should I include a budget?
A detailed budget is not necessary however we do need to know what materials/technology you intend to use and the general range of your projected costs.
B. If project file will not fit into one email may I email them in two separate emails?
Yes, we are aware and sensitive to artists' time constraints. If you choose to do so please label the emails as such ie. 1of2 and 2of2
You may also mail or hand deliver your proposals to:
Eddie Granderson
Public Art Program Manager
233 Peachtree Street
Suite 1700 – Harris Tower
Atlanta, Georgia 30303
C. What if I am not familiar with the area and do not have a specific location?
It is not necessary to site a specific property for your work. A development committee will work alongside all finalists to procure the ultimate location for each work. Helpful information would include stating your vision clearly ie. do you see your work outside, inside, in a store front, hanging from a tree etc.

Elevate Talks at CAP Martkeing Roundtable this afternoon
Today at 4pm. Elevate will be giving a speech at the Downtown Marketing Roundtable in Harris Tower at Peachtree Center. This is to inform businesses, residents and sponsors of the direct and indirect effects Elevate and other Cultural Programming, such as FLUX and ACP, may have on their city centers. Elevate is not only a platform to showcase innovative artists and collectives but concurrently it strives to promote economic vigor in the downtown area.
Central Atlanta Progress is a private, not-for-profit corporation that strives to create a robust economic climate for Downtown Atlanta. With a Board of Downtown's top business leaders, CAP is funded through the investment of businesses and institutions. By combining these two initiatives and using art and culture as a vehicle for change, this event will truly be an epic movement for our city center.
